Art from Weya, the Zimbabwe Artists Projec (ZAP)

ZAP celebrates the artistry and accomplishments of women from rural Weya in eastern Zimbabwe. Through education, sale of their art in the U.S., and special projects, ZAP helps women become economically self-sufficient.

Marlene Anderson in Sabaki, Kenya

One of our members, Marlene Anderson, has assisted school children at the Majenjeni Primary School in the village of Sabaki, Kenya. Marlene is a licensed clinical social worker working in a Portland-area school.
