Marlene Anderson in Sabaki, Kenya
One of our members, Marlene Anderson, has assisted school children at the Majenjeni Primary School in the village of Sabaki, Kenya.
Marlene is a licensed clinical social worker working in a Portland-area school district. She has brought education supplies from Portland, such as desks from a donation from Forest Hills OR, to the rudimentary school there. She has also provided HIV/AIDS prevention classes in the village.
Marlene continues her trips to Kenya. UUGAC applauds her work and we continue to support her benevolent work.
